Dear Student,
If you are a college bound senior and a lover of jazz,
you are eligible to apply for a $500.00 scholarship award
through the The Jazz Knights, Inc.
The award is intended to help students and may be used
for any purposes related to your education, e.g. tuition,
room and board, fees and books. The award will be
deposited to the your student account at the college where
you are accepted and registered as a matriculated full-time
student.
Application Process
We recommend that you review your completed application
and essay with your parent/guardian and guidance counselor.
Please have them sign off on the application.
- Write an essay of approximately 750 words that
discuss how jazz relates to your life presently and
possibly in the future.
- Complete Application form.*
- Include a copy of your most resent report card.

The deadline for submission is December 30, 2007
The selection committee will choose semi-finalist who
will be asked to audition on a Wednesday evening in Queens,
NY. Date to be announced.
